Oh wait..... the Artic Sea Ice is growing ??!!!!!

I have tried on occasion to inform people about this on going debate of Global Warming and is Man the cause of it. My point of the matter is simply this, to just take what someone says is the "Gospel" truth and not think about what you believe based on what you hear,read etc... is just plain disappointing....

Hear is a quick little article that talks about the amount of snow in the Northern Hemisphere and the Artic Sea Ice level... "Artic Sea Ice !" There hasn't been this much snow on the ground since 1966 !!!! (so they say)

One cold winter doesn't make the end of "Global Warming"... and in all honesty, it would be considered normal to have a cold winter in a sea of warm winters....against the averages....

But if everyone can go bonkers when they show one year of dramatic Ice sheet melt.... then shouldn't it be fair to talk about when it is growing again and has more on it now than it did last year at this time. That would mean after it's melting season, it is growing back (which is normal) faster than before. Oh heavens ... what are we to do......

Well we have decided it's about time to make the first floor "feel like home". So I spent the better part of Saturday and Sunday painting the livingroom/kitchen. It was nice that the rugrats were all gone. Now the room has a "warm" feel to it.

Dog + Snow + Freezing Rain =

Well got up this morning to some freezing rain that has fallen over the snow of last night/this morning. Funny how as I am shoveling, my wonderfully smart pet decides that he wants to run around and be crazy like. Only problem is he doesn't understand that frozen snow is a little hard to stop on. But that is okay since the rear tire on my truck explained it to him. Absolutely hysterical. He had this look on his face like "What?". I just looked back at him and laughed.

What makes this story even more funny for me is that not 30 sec after he did that, he does it again, only this time it was the front tire. I almost fell down I laughed so hard.

Stupid dog...

I love him anyway !

Fargo Correction -31F A record !!!!!

Well I thought that Fargo wasn't gonna break their record, but after a closer look at the data, THEY DID IT !

Springfield Ohio last night (actually this morning) hit -11 F

So much for all of the Global Warming going on....

Daytona 500.... Waaa My guy didn't win !

Well watched the 500 and I must say it was a pretty good race. No super big crash to get everyone pissed off because they were just "riding" and got caught up in it, but a few tangles here and there.

That big push Newman got at the end was just amazing, There is no way Stewart could have blocked unless he wanted to end up like Casey Mears (who cut in front of Stewart to block and then tapped the wall just a few laps before).

My guy Earnhardt didn't win but he had a decent race. At the end he just got railroaded because no one went with him. That is the way it goes in plate racing. A good start to his season.

The former COT (Car of Tomorrow) I think did a pretty good job, althought someone will complain about it this week in Fontana....

On an unrelated note: Pitchers and catchers report....... !!!!

Thoughts of the Day....

Not too much going on today. Trying to just relax before watching the Daytona 500......

Been very busy lately with changes at work. One of my good buddies and a person I have worked with at my current job of 7 months has left and gone onto another opportunity. Good move for him. Makes me become the two-headed monster. Handling both Corp and Production.
