Global Warming and FREE SPEECH !
You know it gets under my skin when there are people out there who want
to squash the dialogue that "Global Warming is a farce and that all
people involved in it's evolution from a scientific idea to some concoction to a right of passage are wrong".
America is supposed to be the land of the FREE, but it is becoming the land of the "free.... but only if you agree with me".
I don't understand why there can't be debate about both sides of this issue. (Well I think I have an idea....... it's called POWER & $$$$)
Anyway... I could write for hours about my feelings on this so I won't bore you too much.
Here is an article about Dr. William Gray. A top Hurricane scientist from Colorado State Univ, who is known around the world for his forecasts about Hurricanes for the past few DECADES ! Since he has turned over the "official" posts about hurricanes to his second in command, he has been looking at the Global Warming issue. What is amazing to me is that since he takes an opinion that is opposite the "consensus" about GW, CSU is essentially trying to "quiet" him about it. See... GW research = $$$$$$$ So if you are arguing that GW doesn't exist in the way the IPCC panel describes it, then you are essestially an outcast. His has brought this university countless hours of press time and I would have to believe $$$$$$. So why do they turn on him now? Just shows to me the "power" of what GW can do to a person. This dude knows his $@@#. At least let him talk.
I'll make a statement here:
If DR Gray is correct and GW is NOT as the IPCC and others have described it.... and IF it cools off (that is still and IF... let the numbers tell us) I bet CSU will welcome the people wanting to interview Dr. Gray about how he saw through all of the stuff that the GW believers didn't see..... I mean they want him to be quiet because there public relations person can't handle all of the requests.... please... it's called hire another person...... Ugh!
